Solar Home Systems
When building a solar power system, sourcing and connecting the right components can get complicated. To make consumers’ lives easier ,manufacturers come up with solar panel kits with all the parts you need to get started included right out of the box.
The kit basically has 3 lighting points, with sufficient brightness and working hours. It has helped families living in darkness to obtain access to lighting ,phone charging ,radio and a torch, to fulfill the basic demand for electricity.
We at Kolmena Group Ltd, have been able to distribute over 8000 verified 10w, 15w, 20w solar home systems (SHS).
Achievements
- Kolmena Group Ltd has supplied and installed more than 4000 Solar Home System kits to homes in off-grid set ups in many Districts across the country; a Cana Uhendukiwe program , under the World bank’s project managed by Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD). This is still an ongoing project.
